The exhibition of contemporary photography shows excerpts of the different realities of today’s Austria: regarding the people living here and their different ways of life, but also the regions and landscapes.
Not the visions of tourist commercials and homeland shows are presented, but the diverse facets of life in today’s Austria: Rudolf Strobl shows paintball players in the forest. Ekaterina Sevrouk portrays people in their new homelands in an idyllic setting reminding of romance. But also more problematic subjects such as interventions in the landscape by tourism are addressed by Andrew Phelps, Birgit Sattlecker and Michael Goldgruber, while Nadine Weixler, Reinhart Mlineritsch and Motahar Amiri focus on documents of our life, our country.
